SUBARNAPUR — Today, the new Collector & District Magistrate took charge in Subarnapur. The state government has appointed Debashis Singh IAS (SCS -2015) as the Collector & District Magistrate of Subarnapur. He formally took charge from the ADM (Rev.) cum in – charge Collector Rajendra Majhi on Monday. The post of Collector & District Magistrate in Subarnapur had been vacant for a long time. Debashis Singh was earlier posted in the Additional Secretary to Government General Administration & Public Grievance Department. On Monday (05/10/2026), he first visited the Istadevi Maa Sureswari of Subarnapur. After taking charge, the Collector & District Magistrate joined the grievance redressal camp of the Collector and Supdt. Of Police held in Sonpur block.
