New Delhi, 25/7: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from the Council of Ministers on Saturday (July 25), sending his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi after weeks of student protests demanding accountability over irregularities in the NEET-UG 2026 examination.This marks the second such resignation by a union minister of the Modi Cabinet owing to pressure from the public, after M J Akbar resigned following the MeToo campaign.
