New Delhi, 6/8: Rajya Sabha Chairman C P Radhakrishnan on Thursday (August 6) asked Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju to “echo the sentiments” of the Opposition to Home Amit Shah about their demand for his presence in the House and make a statement on the police action against protesting students.Amid intense sloganeering by the Opposition MPs, Radhakrishnan’s “request” to Rijiju came during the Question Hour after Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge raised “genuine concerns” and a statement by the Home Minister.
