Electricity worker dies due to electrocution: Demand for government help.

Subarnapur, 23/6: Information has been received that an electricity department employee died due to electrocution in Kapasira village of Dunguripali police station in Subarnapur district. According to the information received, Hemanta Seth (32), father of Dukhishyam Seth, working in the Kapasira Grid station , was working on a power pole behind the Shiva temple of his own village and was repairing the wire when for some reason the wire was live and he fell down due to electrocution. The locals immediately rescued him and informed his family and brought him to the Dunguripali Community Health Center. However, the doctor declared him dead. Hundreds of people gathered on hearing the news of his death. A mournful atmosphere was seen in the doctor’s office. Officials and employees of the Electricity Department reached there for the news. A high-level employee of the Electricity Department was present. As per the demands of the family and the villagers, all the conditions were met and finally the dead body was taken for autopsy. According to the complaint written by the family, which employee restored the electricity during the outage, how and for what reason, a high-level investigation was conducted and strict action was taken against the guilty. In this regard, a case was registered with Dunguripally Police under No. 7/26 dated 23-6-26 and further investigation is underway.
