Ahmedabad, 20/8: The death toll in the Bhavnagar hooch tragedy rose to eight on Thursday, while at least eight others remained in critical condition.
Police have registered an FIR against 21 suspects accused of buying and selling spurious liquor under the brand name “Royal Stag”. The liquor, suspected to have caused the deaths, was allegedly procured from an illegally operated unit being run from home.
