Bengaluru, 7/6: In its first major transfer, the newly formed DK Shivakumar-led Congress government has appointed senior IPS officer Pronab Mohanty as the chief of the Karnataka Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
The government issued the notification on Sunday, transferring Mohanty from his current role as Director General of Police (DGP), Internal Security Division, to DGP, CID, Special Units and Economic Offences, Bengaluru
