Nuapada, 14/11: In a major development, Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) Jay Dholakia won by defeating his nearest rival Congress’ Ghasiram Majhi by a whopping margin of 83748 votes . The Biju Janata Dal’s (BJD’s) Snehagini Chhuria secured the third position by securing 38408 votes.
While Jay Dholakia secured 123869 votes in Nuapada by-election, Ghasiram Majhi secured 40121 votes and Snehagini Chhuria 38408
