NTPC Upgrades School Infrastructure at PM Shri G.P. Govt. Higher Secondary School, Raikala, π™ΊπšŽπš—πšπšžπš“πš‘πšŠπš›

Kendujhar, 28/4: Reaffirming its commitment to community development and quality education, NTPC Limited has strengthened rural education infrastructure at PM Shri G.P. Govt. Higher Secondary School, Raikala under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

 

The upgraded facilitiesβ€”including desks, benches, chairs, and storage unitsβ€”were formally inaugurated on 27 April 2026 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha in the presence of senior state officials, NTPC representatives, school staff, and local community members.

 

Serving more than 400 students, many from rural and tribal backgrounds, the initiative aims to create a more conducive learning environment by improving classroom infrastructure and student comfort. The enhanced facilities are expected to promote better attendance, greater classroom participation, and improved academic outcomes.

 

Officials highlighted that strengthening educational infrastructure in rural regions is essential for inclusive growth and long-term social development. The initiative reflects NTPC’s continued dedication to empowering young minds and expanding access to quality education in underserved communities.
