Bhubaneswar, May 26: The Odisha BJP government will celebrate its second anniversary with a 10-day statewide outreach programme from June 12 to June 21, aimed at increasing public awareness about government schemes and achievements rather than holding elaborate festivities.Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has instructed officials to keep the anniversary observance simple and restrained in view of the ongoing global economic and energy challenges. He stressed that the primary focus should remain on connecting with people and informing them about the government’s welfare initiatives and developmental work.Majhi chaired a high-level review meeting at Lok Seva Bhavan on Monday to finalise preparations and outline the roadmap for the anniversary programmes.The celebrations will be organised across the state at both district and state levels under seven key themes — Shakti Odisha, Samruddha Krushi Odisha, Sustha Odisha, Nirmana Odisha, Utkarsha Odisha, Janashakti Odisha and Kaushal Odisha.As part of the campaign, the government will release report cards showcasing the achievements of different departments. Informational booklets, leaflets and digital outreach materials will also be distributed among the public to highlight various schemes and accomplishments.The anniversary initiative is also expected to serve as a platform for presenting Odisha’s long-term development vision and policy priorities for the 2026–2036 period.Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the anniversary programme
