Nayagarh, June 22: With a taint on the decent uniform, IIC Sarankul Police in Odisha’s Nayagarh district was suspended on Monday for alleged sexual harassment to a woman.The accused Police Officer has been identified as Sujit Kumar Das.According to report, Das has been put under suspension by the Odisha DGP today following allegations of sexual harassment made by a woman against the IIC.Worth mentioning, a woman had lodged a complaint with the Nayagarh police against the Sarankul IIC alleging sexual harassment to her. Subsequently she moved higher quarters sharing her ordeal and demanded stern action against the concerned IIC.
