Bhubaneswar: Three minor children have reportedly gone missing from the Chandrasekharpur police station area in Bhubaneswar, sources said Monday.The source added that the children, residents of Sitanath and Adarsh Basti, left their respective homes Sunday to attend tuition classes but did not return. Two of the children are Class IX students, while the third is in Class VII.After the children failed to return home, their family members searched for them at various places but could not trace them. The families later approached the Chandrasekharpur police station and lodged complaints, sources said.Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the disappearance of the three minors.ACP Manas Ranjan Pradhan of Bhubaneswar Zone-6 said that the minor students had left home for tuition but did not attend the coaching class. He said police launched an investigation to trace them after receiving the complaint.He said the students were last seen playing on the school playground and that a search operation was underway to trace them.
