Kolkata 7/8: The Ritabrata Banerjee-led TMC faction on Friday urged Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari to establish regional tribunals across West Bengal to hear disputes arising out of the SIR of electoral rolls, warning that it would move court if adequate safeguards were not put in place for genuine voters.
The group also raised concerns over the removal of loudspeakers from mosques and temples following court orders on noise pollution, indicating that it would seek judicial intervention on that issue as well.
