An unknown person allegedly pushed a youth out of a moving train. Following a complaint, Bhubaneswar GRP has launched an investigation.The incident reportedly took place near Mancheswar railway station, where the youth was pushed out of a moving train. The youth sustained injuries to his right hand.The injured youth has been identified as 19-year-old Rakesh Pradhan. He was found lying beside the railway track.According to the complaint, on the night of the 6 August, while Rakesh was traveling from Bhubaneswar railway station to Meramundali, an unknown person pushed him out of the moving train. Rakesh lay injured in the dark beside the railway track. After receiving information from Rakesh, the PCR team obtained his live location and rushed to the spot.Amid heavy rain and darkness, the PCR team searched for nearly 3 km before finally locating Rakesh, who was battling for his life. The team then carried him on a stretcher for about 500 meters from the railway track to the road. He was first admitted to Capital Hospital, then shifted to SCB Medical, and is currently undergoing treatment at Ashwini Hospital in Cuttack.Bhubaneswar GRP is now investigating why Rakesh was pushed out of the moving train.
