Veteran Kannada actor M S Umesh passes away at 80

Bengaluru, 30/11: Veteran Kannada film actor Mysore Srikantayya Umesh, popularly known as M S Umesh, breathed his last on Sunday after a battle with cancer.

The actor was 80 and passed away at Kidwai Hospital. The multi-faceted artist, renowned for his distinct comic timing and soulful character roles, leaves behind a cinematic legacy spanning over six decades and more than 400 films.
