Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a couple allegedly consumed poison following a family dispute in the Barabhuja slum area of Khandagiri in Bhubaneswar. The wife dies and the husband is said to be in critical condition.The deceased has been identified as Swapna Patra (24), a native of Kendupalli area in Ganjam district.As per sources, Jitendra and Swapna has been married for six years and has been staying in Bhubaneswar. On Saturday, the couple had a verbal argument with each other over Jitendra’s alcohol consumption and allegedly consumed poison.The neighbours rushed them immediately to the hospital where Swapna died and Jitendra is said to be in critical condition.On being informed about the incident, the Khandagiri police have launched an investigation into the incident and have registered an unnatural case.
