New Delhi, 10/8:The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has cut the syllabus of ICSE (Class 10), ISC (Class 12) for the year 2022 board examination and has also decided to conduct the examination twice a year. The first semester exam will be held in November and second semester exam will be held in March or April. The exam pattern of both the exams has also been changed. The first semester will be a multiple choice question paper, while the second semester will be conducted in offline or online mode depending on the pandemic situation at that time. The board has released the new syllabus on its official website cisce.org. Students will get the new syllabus for ICSE and ISC board exams in the publications section of the CISCE website.
In view of the situation of Kovid-19, classes are not going on in schools and colleges at present. The states which have started classes 10th and 12th are also being run on alternate days. In such a situation, CISCE has cut the syllabus for the convenience of the students.
According to the board, the syllabus has been cut, but its quality has not been compromised. CISCE Board Exam 2022 will be held in a new format. The academic session will be divided into two semesters. There will be 50 percent syllabus cover in each session
