New Delhi,v6/12: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Russian Defense Minister General Sergei Shoigu signed agreements between India and Russia. Agreement for procurement of 6,01,427 7.63×39mm assault rifles AK-203 between India and Russia through Indo-Russia Rifles Pvt Ltd, Agreement for Military-Technical Cooperation Program from 2021-2031 has been signed. Along with this, a protocol was signed between the two countries on amending the agreement on cooperation in the field of small arms manufacture of Kalashnikov series.
Earlier, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said during a meeting with Russian Defense Minister General Sergei Shoigu- India and Russia’s relations are based on multilateralism, global peace, prosperity and mutual understanding and trust. The Defense Minister said that the annual India-Russia summit today once again reflects the importance of the Special Strategic Partnership between our countries in the evolving geopolitical situation.
