Uttar Pradesh Assembly bypolls: Congress, SP to team up again as BJP aims to quell internal strife

Lucknow, 19/7: As the BJP embarked on internal firefighting to douse flames of dissent in its Uttar Pradesh unit, the I.N.D.I.A. alliance partners Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) were close to sealing their seat sharing deal to contest the upcoming assembly by-polls.

According to the sources, the SP could contest seven seats leaving the remaining three to the Congress.
