Nilagiri, 31/7:In a recent developments Brajendra Mishra, Junior Horticulture officer (Retired), Nilgiri, Dist-Balasore, who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d)/7 PC Act,1988 *for demanding and accepting bribe from a beneficiary for releasing the subsidy under National Horticulture Mission (NHM) scheme*, was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Balasore and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 2 years and fine.
*Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Sri Brajendra Mishra, Junior Horticulture officer (Retired) following his conviction*.
