Delhi Police register FIR over pellet injuries to youth during July 20 stir following Rahul Gandhi’s dharn

New Delhi, 21/8: Delhi Police on Friday was forced to file an FIR for firing pellet guns at a 19-year-old youth during students’ protest after a dramatic sit-in that lasted nearly six hours by top Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, victim Sachin Lochav and his mother at the Parliament Street police station.The registration of the FIR in the evening came hours after Gandhi stormed out of Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Sachin Sharma’s office and sat on a dharna, which he told the officer could last “20-30-50 days or even six months”
