“A 150-beded Hospital will be built in Kantilo” Dr. Tirupati Panigrahi

Bhubaneswar, 17/10:  the second day of “Kumar Mahotsav” being celebrated at Sundarpada, Kantilo, Ekamra MLA Babu Singh lit the lamp as the chief guest and inaugurated the programme. Among the other dignitaries present on the occasion included the Founder and the Chairman of Hi-Tech Medical College Dr. Tirupati Panigrahi and social worker Biswaranjan Barjena appriciate the success of “Kumar Mahotsav” organized for the first time by Bhubaneswar Vikas Manch. In his inaugural address, Mr. Singh stressed on the need to develop Sundarpada to Harirajpur area like the other areas on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The Double-Engine government is committed to provide transportation and all basic facilities due to the rise in population in the region. Chief Guest Dr. Panigrahi was very happy to see such a beautiful program in the region and expressed his resolve to develop the region as a dream city for more than two decades. In this program, keeping in mind the interest and needs of the people of all the apartments of this area, the Pradhan Sahi G.P and Jamukoli G.P., he promised to build a 150-beded hospital here to expand healthcare services. At the outset, the Guest of Honour as well as the Vice-Chairperson of the Reception Committee, Mr. Badjena brought the problems of the residents to the notice of the MLA, the social approach of Kumar Utsav and the basic problems of the area and sought the cooperation of the entire public for its development. Rajnikant Samantaray, Secretary General of Bhubaneswar Vikas Manch, spoke about the journey of 12 years of struggle of the Manch and the developmental work done by the Manch. In this occasion, a magazine named “Vikas” was released by Bhubaneswar Vikas Manch. Five women achievers were awarded with medals and certificates. One of them is 92-year-old Mrs. Malli Khatei. On the stage manager, Dr. B. K. Mohanty, president Alok Mohapatra, vice-president Umakanta Jena and 25 senior functionaries were present. The programme included a dance performance by Koonikuni children, quiz competition, Biraja Rath and a musical programme by the troupe. Secretary General Samantaray informed that the next day’s program was announced with the thanks of social worker Manoj.
