IB Thermal, 25/10/2024: Odisha Power Generation Corporation ltd. today organized a multi-specialist preventive health camp at Kushraloi Gram Panchayat under Lakhanpur block of Jharsuguda district.
Sarpanch Raghumani Pradhan inaugurated the camp in the presence of Head (HR & Admin) of IB Thermal Power Station Dr. Ratikanta Dash, villagers and staff of IB Thermal Hospital. A team of doctors comprising of Dr. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi, Dr. R.K Mishra (Medicine), both of IB Thermal Hospital along with specialist doctors specially invited by OPGC for this camp Dr. Babita Ramani (Gynecologist) and Dr. B.N. Kashyap (Pediatrician) from Jharsuguda, examined the incoming patients.
The patients were given consultation and medicine in the camp. More than 265 patients from villages such as Adhapara, Jamuna, Kushraloi, Khandsa, Ubuda, Kerualbahal, Baragad, Phalsamunda, Sadera, Remenda etc, were treated in this camp. The patients were checked up for ailments like HTN, D.M, General weakness, Dermatitis, Pyrexia, A.R.I, LBA, APD, knee pain, Cough and headache, Impetigo, Amenorrhea & UTI etc..
The camp was coordinated by CSR team of OPGC which includes Himansu Bhusan Behera, Tapas Panda, and Biren Bishi with support from Staff of IB Thermal hospital Sujata Nayak, Sanjukta Mahanand, Pravat Ku Barik, Sourav Ku Nayak, Dillip Deep, Abhimanyu Bhoi, Karna Bag, Parbin Padhan, Suryakanta Bag, and Jyoti Dash. Under the CSR programme of OPGC many such multi-specialty camps shall be organized in coming months of this financial year.
