Bhubaneswar, 17/5 (AO Bureau):In a major development , the Odisha government led by CM Naveen Patnaik fixed the rates for Ambulance services in the State
The ambulance rates fixed by the Odisha State Government is as follows:
1. Small vehicle will charge Rs 750/10 km, Rs. 30 for every extra km. Additional of Rs 50 for life support.
2. Larger vehicle with advanced life support system will charge Rs. 3000 upto 10 kms and additional Rs. 50 for every extra km.
These rates shall be applicable to all the private hospitals and to all the private ambulance service providers in the state.
