Kalinganagar, Jajpur-based Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) has once again made
Odisha proud at the national and international stage by demonstrating continuous
excellence in industrial safety, workplace safety culture and zero accident target. This year,
the company has once again proven its excellence in the field of safety by winning the
prestigious British Safety Council Distinction Award and the Indian Chamber of Commerce
(ICC) Leadership Award. The awards ceremony for the year 2025-26 was held at the 3rd
Leadership Summit of the Indian Chamber of Commerce held at Lemon Tree Hotel in
Bhubaneswar on 29 May 2026. On this occasion, in the presence of Hon'ble Speaker of
Odisha Assembly Smt. Surama Padhi, Hon'ble Minister of State for Fisheries and Livestock
Development Shri Gokulananda Mallick and senior officers of the Factories and Boilers
Department, Jindal Stainless, Jajpur was presented with the ICC Leadership Award in the
Large Scale Industries Sector. Similarly, at the British Safety Council International Safety
Awards ceremony held at the ZW Marriott Sahar Hotel in Mumbai on 21st May 2026, Jindal
Stainless, Jajpur was presented with the Distinction Award, one of the highest honours for
the metals and mining sector, by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Peter McGetterick
and Chief Executive Mike Robinson. On the occasion of receiving these two prestigious
awards, the Head of Safety Department dedicated this achievement as the result of the
collective efforts of all the employees, associates and partners. He expressed the hope that
the strong commitment to safety and the continuous pursuit of excellence will take Jindal to
new heights in the days to come. This success of Jajpur Jindal is not only an achievement of
a company, but also a matter of pride and inspiration for the industrial world of Odisha. The
consensus in the industry is that the coordination of safety, discipline and responsibility is
