TPNODL Announces Dushyant Kumar Tyagi as New CEO

Baleswar, 2nd June 2026: TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL), a joint venture
between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has appointed Mr. Dushyant Kumar
Tyagi as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Mr. Tyagi brings over three decades of extensive experience in the power distribution
sector, having held senior leadership roles in several reputed electricity distribution
companies in India. He is an alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering and holds a
postgraduate degree in management from IMI Delhi.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Tyagi served in several leadership positions in TPCODL, Tata
Power DDL and TPNODL in wide sphere of areas like operation services, commercial, CSR,
network engineering and inventory management etc.
Speaking on his appointment, Mr. Tyagi said, “TPNODL is committed to delivering quality
and reliable electricity services to consumers. By leveraging advanced technology and
innovative management practices, our goal is to continuously enhance customer experience
and achieve operational excellence in the region.”
Mr. Tyagi succeeds Mr. Gajanan Kale, who has been transferred as CEO of TPCODL and Chief
of the Odisha distribution business.
TPNODL currently serves nearly 9.7 million people, with around 19.86 lakh registered
consumers across Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, and Jajpur districts, covering
an area of 27,920 square kilometres.
