India has won the Test series for the second time in Australia.
Earlier on the 2018-19 tour too, the Indian team defeated Australia 2–1 in the four-match Test series. At that time, the Indian team became the first team from Asia to win the Test series against Australia at its home. Now once again, India has created history by defeating the Kangaroo team in its home.
Pant and Gill played amazing innings
Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant and opener Shubman Gill were the heroes of this historic victory of India. Pant made 89 not out from 138 balls. During this, he hit nine fours and a six. With this, he also became the fastest Indian wicketkeeper to score 1,000 runs in Test cricket. At the same time, Shubman Gill played brilliant innings of 91 runs in 146 balls.
