Uttar Pradesh: A gruesome discovery was made in Meerut’s Lisadi Gate area on Thursday night, leaving the community in shock. A couple, Moin and his wife Asma, along with their three young daughters, Afsa, Aziza, and Adiba, were found dead in their rented home. The police received a call about a suspiciously locked house, and upon investigation, they found the bodies.Meerut Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vipin Tada said preliminary investigations suggest an old feud might be the motive behind the killings. The way the house was locked from the outside suggests that the killer may have been someone known to the family. A detailed investigation is on, with a forensic team and senior officers collecting evidence from the site.As the police have said, Moin, a mechanic who had just moved to the area. Moin’s family was reported missing since Wednesday and Salim was the first among them to have found the horror scene. The brother of Moin came with his wife, Salim, who came concerned about where his brother could be. On failure to open several times, Salim and his wife managed to enter the house with the aid of neighbors.The scene was terrible, with Moin’s body lying on the ground, and the bodies of his wife and daughters hidden in a bed box. The events were recalled by a neighbor, Mohd Irfan: “Moin had shifted to Lisadi Gate around 45 days ago. He was constructing a house for the family and was currently living in a rented house where the murder took place. I received a call from his family in Shahjahanpur on Thursday evening asking about their whereabouts. The house was locked from the outside, and when we broke in, it was a horrifying scene.Moin was tied to the bed, and all the other family members were pushed into the bed compartment.Police have maintained a tight security zone to protect evidence and are probing into this unfortunate incident.
