Telangana has issued an alert for travelers coming from Britain.
Since the new form of coronavirus infection was identified on December 9, 1,200 passengers from the UK have arrived in Telangana. Telangana Public Health Director, Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao (Dr G Srinivasa Rao) issued a statement that we are taking information about those who have come back from the UK and are checking their health status. Srinivas said that 16 of those who have reached Telangana from Britain so far have been found to be Corona positive.
The quarantine will remain even after the report comes negative
He said that the corona test is being done on all the people who came from Britain. Even if the report comes negative, these passengers will have to stay in the house-dwelling. In addition, those who report positive will be treated in the hospital on the basis of symptoms. He said that no case of a new type of coronavirus has been reported in the state so far, surveillance has also been increased at the airport.
