UP, 13/1 (AO Bureau): After the death of 20 people due to poisonous liquor in Morena on Tuesday, the Shivraj government of the state has taken major action. The district collector Anurag Verma and SP Anurag Sujania have been removed. Along with this, Jaura SDOP Sujit Bhadauria has also fallen heavily.
The number of people who died of poisonous alcohol has increased to 20 while more than a dozen people are still being treated in the hospital. Out of the 7 accused of selling liquor, two have been arrested while five others are being searched. Here, on the incident of Morena, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that it is a sad and serious incident. He said that the Chief Minister has made it clear that such incidents will not be tolerated. SP, Collector, and SDOP have been suspended immediately.
