Kalahandi, 14/1(AO Bureau): Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has added a new chapter to the development of Kalahandi. The Chief Minister has visited Kalahandi and gifted Kalahandi a project worth Rs 2,085 crore. CM Naveen dedicated 54 projects worth Rs 1064 crore including the Upper Indravati Lift Canal system to the people of Kalahandi.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen also laid the foundation stone of 52 projects worth Rs 1020 crore in the district.Rs 986.71 crores has been spent on the Upper Indravati Canal System and it is irrigating 25,275 hectares of agricultural land.
The 54 projects launched by CM Naveen include 10 drinking water projects amounting to Rs 20.02 crore and 13 check dams at a cost of Rs 4.83 crore.
