Patna, 25/1 (AO Bureau) : The birth anniversary of Jannayak Karpoori Thakur was celebrated on Sunday in the entire state. Leaders of both the ruling party and the opposition saluted him on the 97th birth anniversary of former Bihar Chief Minister Karpoori Thakur. However, after celebrating his birth anniversary on Sunday, the demand for him to be awarded the Bharat Ratna once again on Monday has arisen. Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of Opposition of Bihar, has tweeted and demanded that former CM Karpoori Thakur be awarded the Bharat Ratna. At the same time, Nitish Kumar is targeted because of the delay in this work.
Tejashwi Yadav tweeted that there is an old demand for Bharat Ratna to be given to Jananayak Karpoori Thakurji. But despite the NDA having 39 out of 40 MPs from Bihar, why is the double engine government not giving Bharat Ratna to Jannayak? Is it because they belong to the disadvantaged group? Why don’t the CM specifically meet the PM for this?
