West Bengal: Four former TMC leader will Join BJP

Kolkatta, 30/1 (AO Bureau) : Former West Bengal minister Rajib Banerjee, who recently left Trinamool Congress, has arrived in Delhi on Saturday along with some other disgruntled MLAs and leaders of the party, where he is in the BJP May join. ANI has given information about this. These leaders left for Delhi along with BJP’s Mukul Roy and Kailash Vijayvargiya. Banerjee along with MLAs Prabir Ghoshal and Baishali Dalmiya and former Howrah Mayor Ratin Chakraborty left for Delhi in a special aircraft and will meet BJP central leaders. Ghoshal and Dalmiya have recently been expelled from the Trinamool Congress. Banerjee said that she had a conversation with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who has called her to the national capital.

“I received a call from the BJP leadership after my resignation from the Trinamool Congress,” he told a Bengali news channel. Amit Shah asked me to come to Delhi. If I get an assurance regarding the development of the state, I will join the party. “Asked about his possible role in BJP, Banerjee said that it is for the party to decide. He said, “I want to work for the public. Therefore, I will accept the responsibility given to me. “BJP sources said that the former Trinamool Congress leader will leave for Delhi in a special aircraft.
