The water level in Dhauliganga Nandi has suddenly risen after an avalanche on a power project in Rani village in the Tapovan area of ​​Chamoli district. People living in the Nijle area are being sent to the upper areas. In view of the devastation caused by the glacier burst, an alert has been issued in Srinagar, Rishikesh and Haridwar, and other places.

State Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said, “The Rishiganga project in Rini village of Chamoli is prone to damage due to heavy rains and sudden water.
