Rahul Gandhi took a dig at Tamil Nadu CM

Tamil Nadu, 28/3 (AO Bureau): Former Congress president and MP from Wayanad, Kerala, Rahul Gandhi on Sunday targeted the BJP and the AIADMK. He said that he felt bad when he saw Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E. Palaniswami (Tamil Nadu CM Edappadi K. Palaniswami) touching the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rahul said, ‘When I see that the Prime Minister is controlling the CM of Tamil Nadu and he is quietly touching the feet of the PM, then I am not ready to accept it. The CM of Tamil Nadu does not want to bow down to Amit Shah, but due to the corruption he has done, he is compelled to do so.

Addressing an election public meeting held in Shastri Nagar, Chennai, Rahul said, ‘I saw a picture of an elected representative, in which he was touching the feet of Amit Shah. Such a relationship is possible only in BJP where you have to touch the feet of the party leaders. One has to bow to Narendra Modi or Amit Shah.

The former Congress president claimed that a ‘leader’ in Uttar Pradesh was forced to bow to Shah because he (the leader) is corrupt and this person lost his independence due to corruption. He claimed that Palaniswami had the same situation. However, Gandhi did not mention the name of the leader of Uttar Pradesh
