Lalu Yadav gets bail in Fooder Scam

Bihar, 17/4 (AO Bureau): The RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, who was serving a jail sentence for more than a year in fodder scam cases, has been granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court today. With this decision, the way for Lalu Yadav to come out of jail has been cleared. Even before the embezzlement case from the Dumka treasury, Lalu’s bail has been heard many times before. In this case of fodder scam, the High Court has granted bail to Lalu Yadav in the case of illegal withdrawal of Rs 3.13 crore from Dumka treasury. According to RJD chief’s counsel Devarshi Mandal, there was a virtual hearing of Lalu’s bail case amid reports of corona infection.

The court of Justice Aparesh Singh in the Jharkhand High Court ruled to grant bail to the RJD chief after hearing in the Dumka treasury case. Case number RC 38 case was heard in the court today. Lalu Yadav has already been granted bail in the Chaibasa and Deoghar cases before the illegal withdrawal of more than Rs 3 crore from the Dumka treasury. Let me tell you that in the case of illegal withdrawal from the Dumka treasury, Lalu Yadav’s bail plea has been heard before, but he could not get any relief from the court.

Significantly, the news of daughter Rohini Acharya fasting for the release of father Lalu Yadav came in the past. After this, Lalu’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav started Devi Puja on the occasion of his father’s Navratri at the earliest. Apart from this, Lalu’s younger son and former Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav also reached Deoghar. It was told that Tejashwi, who arrived for campaigning in the by-election in Madhupur Assembly seat in Jharkhand, visited Lord Baidyanath in Babadham and wished to release his father.
