Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot suggests PM Modi to impose nationwide lockdown

Jaipur, 6/5 (AO Bureau): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that the central government should impose nationwide lockdown amidst the ever increasing corona infection in Rajasthan. Ashok Gehlot believes that by doing this, the series of Covid-19 can be broken. He has warned that there is already a shortage of oxygen, medicines and other equipment in view of increasing cases of corona infection. If the number of Kovid positive patients increases at this pace, then soon there will be a shortage of medical staff in the country.

Remind you that amidst the ever increasing corona infection in Rajasthan, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi tweeted. After which the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan is considering imposing complete lockdown in the state. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had formed a group of ministers on Thursday, indicating this.

On Wednesday, a meeting of the State Council of Ministers was held at his residence under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. A group of 5 ministers was formed with the decision to take further strict steps to break the Corona transition chain. This group of ministers is going to give its suggestions today, ie on Thursday, considering the possible steps. Only then will the final decision be taken on the entire lockdown in Rajasthan.

The general opinion in the meeting was that for some time, events like marriages should be postponed to curb this worrisome situation of infection. Court Marriage should be done only if there is a lot of need. By strictly enforcing the guidelines of the Red Alert Curfew, it was also suggested to reduce the traffic.
This Group of Ministers includes Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal, Water Minister Dr. BD Kalla, Medical Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma, Minister of State for Education Govind Singh Dotasara and Minister of State for Medicine, Dr. Subhash Garg.
