Farmers Protest: What did Governor Satya Pal Malik say about the farmers’ movement?

Meghalaya, 18/10:Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik, while supporting the farmers agitating against the three agricultural laws of the Center, said that if the farmers are not listened to, then this central government will not come again. In Jhunjhunu on Sunday, Malik said that the resignation of Union Minister Ajay Mishra in the Lakhimpur Kheri case should have been done on the same day. On Mishra not resigning in the Lakhimpur Kheri case, Malik said, “It is absolutely wrong, in the Lakhimpur Kheri case, Mishra’s resignation should have been done on the same day. He doesn’t deserve to be a minister just like that. ”

Malik said that “the mood of those who have governments reaches the sky a little, they do not see how much they are suffering, but the time comes when they have to see and listen. If farmers are not obeyed then this government will not come again.”

In response to another question related to the farmers, Malik said, “Atrocities are happening with the farmers, they have been lying for 10 months, they have left their homes, it is time for sowing the crop and they are still lying in Delhi.” So the government should listen to them.

On leaving the post of governor and standing with the farmers, Malik said, “I am standing with them, there is no need to leave the post, when the need arises, I will leave that too.. but I am with them.” .. I have quarreled with the Prime Minister, Home Minister for them. I have told everyone that you are doing this wrong, don’t do this.
