Congress Jan Jagran Abhiyan: Congress ‘Padyatra’ plan against inflation, workers will stay in villages

New Delhi,10/11:Congress has decided to demonstrate against inflation on a large scale under the Jan Jagran Abhiyan. In the campaign starting from November 14, party workers will wear a Gandhi cap on a padyatra. Congress leaders held a press conference at the party’s AICC headquarters on Wednesday. He told that the Congress workers will take out a Prabhat Pheri in protest against the inflation. At present, the Congress is running a membership drive across the country.

Congress leaders Digvijay Singh, Randeep Singh Surjewala and KC Venugopal were involved in the party’s press conference. During this, party general secretary Venugopal informed that the party will run public awareness campaign from November 14 to November 29. He said that we demonstrated against inflation and also protested at petrol pumps across the country. He said that Congress workers will undertake padyatra and stay in the village at night. After this, a morning procession will be taken out. The party general secretary told that he will organize a program in Wardha from November 12 to November 14.

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh said that the party will make its voice reach the people. On Wednesday, he said that the way the economy of the country has deteriorated, the families of this country are also facing problem in balancing their budget. He said that there are many problems and will take them forward. The former CM said, ‘We are confident that we will be able to reach our voice to the people.’
