Banpur, 20/11:This morning, the Balugaon Excise department raided Muktadeipur Canal Road under Khordha district’s Banpur police station and seized a large quantity of ID liquor and arrested three local liquor dealers.
A team led by Balugaon Excise Officer Manoj Barik was spotted on Muktadeipur Canal Road from 10.30 pm last night, according to sources. However, at around 4am this morning, three local dealers were on their way to Banpur from Kosarda area to sell ID liquor when they were apprehended by the Excise team near Muktadeipur canal.
The three accused, identified as Lilu Sabar(26), Prafulla Sabar(23) and Lakhia Sabar(50) of Kosarda village. Excise department seized three bikes, including 450 liters of ID liquor from them .In this connection 3 cases has been registered at Balugaon Excise Station, vide PR, Nos. 79, 80 and 81 told Excise office Mr. Barik.
