Odisha CM Distributes BSKY Smart Health Cards In Rayagada

Rayagada, 23/11:Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the distribution of smart health cards under the Biju Health Welfare Scheme (BSKY) in Rayagada district through virtual. 8 lakh 3 thousand people in the district will get this facility. In addition, people from 14 districts of the state participated in the event.

 

Inaugurating the event, the Chief Minister lauded the tribal brothers and sisters and said that they have taken advantage of various government schemes to change their lives. “Similarly, mothers in the district have joined the 4,000 Mission Shakti Groups to improve their social and economic situation and make themselves better,” he said.

 

Today, the Chief Minister inaugurated various projects worth Rs 870 crore for Rayagada. The Chief Minister said that two mega lift projects have been completed in Rayagada to irrigate 1,000 hectares of land in the Gunupur block.

 

In Rayagada, 8,300,000 people would get smart cards under the Biju Health Welfare Scheme, he said, adding that this would solve a big problem for them.

 

The Chief Minister said that three and a half crore people from 96 lakh households in the state would benefit from the Smart Health Card. “It simply came to our notice then. They can get rid of a lot of problems for health care, especially financial problems. He spoke in support of the US Alliance, but said that maintaining some independence was not the answer. Now people can get better treatment at 200 major hospitals in the country by holding a piece of card without any hassle. “It simply came to our notice then. “Smart health cards have made this possible,” he said.

The function was attended by Minister for Women and Child Development, Mission Energy Mrs. Tukuni Sahu, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Development Minister Shri Jagannath Sarka, MP Shri Bhaskar Rao, Rayagada MLA Shri Makrand Muduli Chief Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana Smart Card He said that the Chief Minister had established Odisha as a model state in the country in terms of development and welfare.
