NEET-PG Counseling delay: Matter reached Supreme court

New Delhi, 29/12: The case of clashes between resident doctors protesting against the delay in NEET-PG counseling has reached the Supreme Court. A public interest litigation has been filed in the Supreme Court regarding this. The petition has demanded the apex court to take suo motu cognizance of the matter.

 

Advocate Vineet Jindal has filed this petition in the Supreme Court. The petitioner has told the Supreme Court that the threat of Omicron is continuously increasing in the country. In such a situation, the government should take appropriate steps regarding the strike of doctors. In the application filed in the Supreme Court, the petitioner has also demanded strict action against the police officers who have committed indecency with the protesting doctors.
