Cuttack, 7/2: Alekh Gardia IIC,Narsinghpur PS , Distt.Cuttack has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe Rs 20,000/- from a Complainant to arrest the accused persons involved in an SC/ST Act case registered on his complaint in Narsinghpur PS in September 2021. The entire bribe money has been recovered from Sri Gardia and seized.
Following trap, simultaneous house serches are going on at the official quarters of the accused located in Narsinghpur PS campus and his native village in Bhandarimal, Jujumara PS,Sambalpur.
In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No 10 Dt.06.02.22 U/S 7 PC (Amendment) Act 2018 has been registered.
