Angul, 4/4: Today i.e on 4.4.2022 at 7.15 PM, Sri Padmalochan Sahoo, Secretary, Sanahulla Co-operative society,Athamallik,Dist-Angul has been apprehended by Odisha Viglance while demanding and accepting
bribe Rs.40,000/- from a Complaint(paddy farmer)in order to initiate Token for purchase of paddy. The entire bribe money has been recovered from Sri Sahoo and seized.
Following trap, the residential building of Sri Sahoo located at Vill-Mahulanali,PO-Sanahulla,PS-Thakurgarh,Dist-Angul is being searched from DA angle.
In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance PS Case no -23 dt.04.04.2022 U/S-7 P.C Act,1988 as amended by the PC(amendment) Act,2018 has been registered.
Investigation in progress against Sri Sahoo.
