Khordha Collector K.Sudharshan Chakravarthy paid a surprise visit to Banpur this afternoon. After reaching Banpur, DM first went to Bhagwati Temple and had the darshan of goddess where he was welcomed by local Tehsildar, BDO, NAC EO and Endowment EO .
Later, DM went to the block office and reviewed various developmental works there. While the festive season has already started, DM emphasized on how to end it peacefully and also directed local administration to be vigilant regarding this.
However, when asked about the construction of drainage system in Banpur NAC, DM said that he has already instructed the concerned department EE to take steps as soon as possible in this direction.
