Jharsuguda (IB Thermal): Odisha Power Generation Corporation today organized a health camp at the panchayat office of Tilia GP under Lakhanpur block in Jharsuguda district.
Sarpanch of Tilia GP Ms. Pushpanjali Pradhan inaugurated the camp in the presence of villagers and staff of IB Thermal Hospital.
After the inauguration at about 11.00AM, the camp continued till 5.00pm in the evening. A team of four doctors comprising of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of IB Thermal Hospital Dr. Sangita Panda, CMO-in-Charge & Dr. K K Misra of IB Thermal Hospital, Dr. Ekanta Pradhan of Lakhanpur C.H.C. Dr. Ashok Jena from Adhapara treated the incoming patients.
The patients were given free consultation and medicine in the camp. About 230 patients from villages such as Tilia, Phatapali, Bhagabanpali, Tetelkudli, Charmal, Singheipali, Badsarua, Ghusura etc. were treated in this camp. The patients were checked up for ailments like Vertigo, LBA, URTF, LRTF, hypertension, diabetes, tinia and skin diseases. Staff of IB Thermal hospital Rita James, Sanjukta Mahananda, Pravat Barik, Sandhyarani Kishan, Premanand Bishal, Abhimanyu Bhoi, Karna Bag led by Damodar Nayak helped conduct the camp in a smooth manner.
