Rayagada: Inter Departmental Cricket Tournament organized at JK Paper Mills, Jaykaypur Town, Rayagada District. Year after year, JK Paper Mills organized Cricket Tournament where 22 teams of 22 departments participate and this will continue upto December 11th, 2022.
Mr Vinay Dwivedi, Executive Vice President – Works inaugurated this tournament. At the inaugural function Sri Biswajit Dwivedi, VP Commercial and Sri Sandeep Pandey, GM HR & IR released a dove for peace and harmony. On this occasion a friendly match was played between JK Sports Club old player and Sr Executive of JK Paper Mills, where-in JK Sports club won the match by 6 wickets.
The first inaugural match was played between JK Paper Machine Mechanical and the HR team. HR team won the match by 9 wickets.

Md Avesh earned 35 runs in 18 balls and was declared as “Man of the Match”, and Shankar Sabar took 3 wickets in 2 over bowling and gave 8 runs.
This Tournament is organized by the Welfare Department on the leadership of Mr. R K Das, Chief Manager – Welfare & Guest Relations. It was very well organized with the help of Mr. Siba Sankar Panda, Mr. Bhaskar Naidu and Mr. P Venkat.
