BIRLA SCHOOL OF COMMERCE ORGANIZES PANEL DISCUSSION ON UNION BUDGET

Bhubaneswar: The Birla School of Commerce, Birla Global University organised a panel discussion on “Analysis of Union Budget-2023” on 7th February,2023. The session involved eminent resource person who fervidly apportioned their knowledge and information regarding the various aspects covering the Union Budget of 2023-24 which illuminated everyone.

The session started with theaddress by Prof. Samson Moharana, Dean, Birla School of Commerce who emphasized on future implication of the budget, expectation of recession, strong points of economy, Bank NPA, debt, and impact on stock marketin the presence of Prof. Premendu P. Mathur, Vice Chancellor, Birla Global UniversityProf. (Dr.) B. K. Das, Registrar, Birla Global University.

Renowned Chartered Accountant & Financial Consultant CA A.K. Sabat,  accentuated on inflation, layoff’s problem, benefits given to middlemen, budget vs. actual and variance analysis introduction, benefits for senior and super senior citizens, alternative tax schemes and many more.

Mr.Trinath Lenka, CFP, Managing Director, Wallet Finserve Pvt. Ltd.  pitched primarily on compulsory and statutory deduction, financial planning, fiscal deficit, agriculture credit, Shree Anna Yojana, NDL, highest allocation till date on  Railway, infrastructure, Artificial intelligence, tourism, Start-up and insurance sector.

The Panel discussion was coordinated by Dr.Radha Krishna Mishra & Dr.Sonika Suman from Birla School of Commerce, Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar.
