Chilika, 23/2: Bhubaneswar vigilance team has been conducting raids in Banpur police station Bazar Sahi of Khordha district since this morning.
According to reports,on the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by Ajay Kumar Senapati, Asst. Engineer (R & B) Division-II Balasore, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by the Odisha Vigilance led by 4 DSPs, 10 Inspectors, 2 Sub-inspectors and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar at 7 places in Puri, Balasore and Khordha districts.
While Ajay’s native place is Banpur, vigilance is being conducting raid at his parental house Banpur, Balugaon and relative’s house in Tangi. In Banpur, vigilance inspector Ashok Kumar Beura is continuing the raid while in Balugaon, inspector Manoranjan Paikray ia continuing.
