Subarnapur, 24/5: It has been reported that two people were killed and two were seriously injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a bolero at 4 o’clock in the morning near Boudh Police Station Kamalpur on National Highway no.57 passing through Boudh district. According to the information received, Baunsuni police said that a Bolero OD 03 E 5163 is a private vehicle. While the Bolero was returning to Cuttack to search for a warranty, it collided head-on with a marble truck OD 25 M 0095 coming from Sonepur near Kamalpur Chhak.As a result, Bolero driver Baunsuni Godvithar Prashant Rana and home guard Jagannath Meher who were sitting in the vehicle died on the spot. ASI Nagaraj Pradhan and home guard Susant Sahu of the police station were seriously injured. Another constable Udayanath Jani was slightly injured. It is reported that both the injured were first shifted to Boudh and then to Burla Medical. Baunsuni police and Boudh police reached the spot and further investigation is underway.
