LPG price cut: Cabinet slashes domestic cylinder prices by Rs 200

New Delhi, 29/8: The Union Cabinet has approved an additional subsidy of Rs 200 per LPG cylinder under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Union I&B Minister Anurag Thakur announced on Tuesday after a meeting.

subsidy for ujjwala beneficiaries now stands at rs 400 per lpg cylinder, thakur said. according to a report by cnbc-tv18, the subsidy will be given to indian oil, hpcl, and bpcl, resulting in a dip in prices for consumers.
